MLB Championship Series 2025 is heating up — and the Division Series did not disappoint. After some tight games, clutch pitching, and late-inning drama, we’ve got our Championship Series matchups set. Here’s how we got here, who’s moving on, and what’s next as we inch closer to the World Series.

So here’s a sentence you don’t get to say often — the Mariners are still in it! Seattle powered their way through Detroit, proving once again that pitching and timely hitting can make all the difference in October.
On the other side, Toronto fans are buzzing. The Blue Jays outlasted the Yankees in a fiery AL East showdown, backed by some incredible defense and, let’s be honest, pure home-field energy.
This matchup is going to be fun — two teams with passionate fanbases, strong rotations, and something to prove. The Mariners haven’t been this deep in the postseason in ages, and the Jays have their eyes on bringing the trophy back north.
Series prediction: Expect late nights, extra innings, and maybe a few roof-blowing moments at Rogers Centre.

NLCS: Los Angeles Dodgers vs Milwaukee Brewers

— Milwaukee Brewers (@Brewers) October 13, 2025
Meanwhile, over in the National League, the Dodgers and Brewers are ready to clash in what might be the most evenly matched series of the playoffs so far.
Milwaukee kept their underdog magic alive, taking down the Cubs with gutsy bullpen work and just enough offense to get it done. They’ve been scrappy all year, and it’s paying off.
But facing L.A. is another story. The Dodgers made quick work of the Phillies, reminding everyone why October baseball in Dodger Stadium feels like a movie. Big bats, big moments — they’re the heavyweight of the NL, no doubt.
Still, don’t count Milwaukee out. This team has heart, and sometimes that’s what flips the script.

What’s Next
The winners of these two matchups will meet in the 2025 World Series, and if it’s anything like the Division Series, we’re in for a classic. Even though the Jays handled the Yankees, do we really think they can take care of the Mariners? Can the Brewers pull off the underdog story of the season and come out victorious over the Dodgers?
Until then, grab your snacks, settle in, and enjoy the ride. October baseball never misses.
